Welcome to the Ramon Hyron Garcia campaign site. Together we will start where Bernie Sanders left off and continue the revolution to change this country, town by town, state by state.

Together we shall stand up and say ENOUGH is ENOUGH! We as a people of this GREAT country will not allow big business, pharma, and oil control the lives of everyone who does not have the resources to fight back.

I am one of you. I am a disabled Hispanic man on Social security living check to check and I had to file bankruptcy due to not having health insurance. This is all before the ACA and having a preexisting condition. Now the republicans voted to take it away, just to give tax breaks to those who do not need it.

A short response to hatred

Ramon Hyron Garcia For Congress 2018. I am not Bernie Sanders, I am Ramon H Garcia ... DID NOT VOTE FOR HILLARY, DID NOT VOTE FOR POTUS. If I wanted RUSSIA I would of voted for POTUS, If I want to continue BIG BUSINESS I would of voted HILLARY, If I wanted more BIG PHARMA and MONSANTO/BAYER I would of remained a POTUS supporter. I was a Barack Obama supporter, WHILE I agree with a lot he has done he also has not done enough for the disabled, racial justice for all or more for  gun safety. BUT this Congress have been there too LONG. It is time for it to reflect REAL AMERICANS. NOT the ones who think they know the difference between AMERICA today and the 1940's.. SORRY YOU HATE FILLED BIGOTS YOUR TIME IS OVER! SO, YES everyone pay their fair share of taxes....Healthcare as a RIGHT not a privilege, EQUAL PAY FOR WOMEN! EQUAL RIGHTS FOR OUR GAY BI & TRANSGENDER BROTHERS AND SISTERS. ITS SAYS IN THE CONSTITUTION... ALL MEN ARE CREATED EQUAL! NOT just the wealthy or privileged or the ELITE, it should not matter where you were born. Our statue of liberty says to ALL not like the brazen giant of Greek fame (Colossus of Rhodes),
With conquering limbs astride from land to land;
Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand
A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame
Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name
Mother of Exiles. From her beacon-hand
Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command
The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame.
“Keep, ancient lands, your storied pomp!” cries she
With silent lips. “Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!”

This is the Current Congressman of WI-5

This is the current Congressman for WI-5. REALLY REALLY. HE IS SUPPOSED TO REPRESENT PEOPLE! But sat there like a KING not as their REPRESENTATIVE..... This is a POLITICIAN not someone who knows whats it is like to be discriminated against because of Color, Gender, or preexisting Condition. I am a 40 year old Hispanic dealing with Multiple Sclerosis who understands whats its like to have someone cross the road when they see you, to have Security follow you around, to be DENIED Insurance due to Preexisting Condition. My Name is Ramon Hyron Garcia and I am Running for WI-5 seat I am asking for your support, O and I will never never not dodge a question.

The Problem Isn’t Food Stamps, It’s Poverty

Food stamps work. Each month they help feed 43 million poor and low-income Americans, most in families with children and working parents. Food stamps, officially the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, keep millions of people from falling into poverty each year and prevent millions of poor people, many disabled or elderly, from falling deeper into poverty.
They also improve the future prospects of poor children by fostering better health and graduation rates.
Benefits average only $1.40 per person per meal, ineligible recipients are rare and incorrect payments are few. Into the bargain, food stamps support the farm economy and the broader economy by creating a bigger market for food and supplying cash that is quickly spent.
President Trump’s budget plan would destroy the food stamp program, on the pretense that it discourages work. That’s nonsense, because most adult recipients either work or are unable to do so because of age or disability. A more plausible explanation is that cutting food stamps would help to offset the cost of huge tax cuts for the rich.
